Project Summary

This partnership between a secondary, public school in Latvia (coordinator) and one in Greece aims at bringing together the students of two very far away countries who by working together on a common subject will explore their differences and realize their similarities. The title of the project is "Volunteering for both self improvement,for local community, for Europe". Volunteering is a concept familiar to both societies but with very little actual implementation. Thus, through the project the students will develop not only their academic skills (foreign languages -school subjects related to the project) but also their social skills and life competences that will induce them into becoming active citizens of both their local society and of Europe.
